΢΢²ÝÊÓƵ launches new Accolades magazine

We’re delighted to announce the launch of our new Accolades awards magazine.

The magazine is inspired by our celebrated annual awards ceremony, which has been paused due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and is intended to keep the spirit of the Accolades alive during these challenging times.

The Accolades awards have been recognising and celebrating best practice, excellence, and innovation in social care for more than 15 years.

Due to the challenges facing us all over the last 18 months and attention being focused on delivering safe and effective care and support, we took the decision to pause the Accolades awards this year.

In place of an awards ceremony, our Accolades awards magazine looks back on the stories of last year’s award winners, sharing stories of success and inspiration for best practice and innovation. We’ve also caught up with these providers to find out more about how they’ve adapted to manage the challenges of the pandemic.

We know the current climate for the social care workforce is more challenging than ever, and as we launch the Accolades awards magazine, we want to recognise the ongoing dedication and bravery of our social care teams throughout the past 18-months.

We hope the magazine will become an additional forum to celebrate those people going above and beyond to champion and improve social care.

Oonagh Smyth, CEO of ΢΢²ÝÊÓƵ, says:

Having paused our usual in-person award ceremony, we wanted to find a new way to celebrate those people and organisations across social care who exemplify the passion, commitment, excellence, and innovation in care. They’re the people who have and continue to support our families and communities. This is why we decided to launch the Accolades awards magazine – a new publication that will put a spotlight on the people and organisations who are going the extra mile to be supportive employers and deliver personalised care.

We’ll be sharing an update on the next steps for our Accolades awards later in 2021.
